Yes! I studied all the loopholes and frustrations of kids & iPhones for years; even the third party options had workarounds. This led me to create LivingRoom for iOS. It blocks the workarounds and is the closest thing there is to an easy button for this. https://livingroomapp.com

You didn't know that THIS is what you'd be needing that PhD for..... :( So frustrating (and down right wrong) that it takes so many hoops to jump through to make a product safe for kids.

My teenage daughter figured out how to get around parental controls on her iPhone. Then I saw a short video on how to set up Assistive Access for my elderly aunt. I realized that it was better than parental controls, and did it on my daughter's phone.

You can set it up to control which apps they have access to, which contacts, ability to download new apps or not, etc..... and more.
